Martín Jerí, considerado en los últimos meses como uno de los surfistas más completos del planeta por importantes medios especializados, ya se encuentra nuevamente en Lima. Tras un periodo extenso concentrado y entrenando doce horas al día, recorrió las playas emblemáticas de los Estados Unidos y Hawái y finalizó esta etapa de preparación con éxito para su esperado retorno a las competencias nacionales e internacionales.

Luego de ser nominado en el rubro de ‘La Mejor Ola 2015’, Jerí nos contó detalles de sus actividades para el segundo semestre de 2016, que incluyen eventos del Circuito Nacional de la FENTA y míticas competencias, como la próxima Edición de Pico Alto, tradicional certamen que reúne a la flor y nata de los surfistas amantes de las olas grandes, quienes arriban de varios países del orbe.

“Hemos logrado nuestro objetivo trazado para llegar a mayo con el más alto nivel posible, tanto en el aspecto deportivo, físico y mental. Ya en Lima, ahora estoy retomando mis visitas a las playas peruanas, donde participaré en el Circuito Nacional Abierto de la Federación y alternaré en el extranjero con las fechas de la QS de la Liga Mundial de Surf (WSL). En nuestro medio viene Pico Alto, que se encuentra en tiempo de espera.”

Jerí confirmó para lo que resta de la temporada nacional intervenir en Junio en Huanchaco y en Octubre en Talara. En lo que respecta a la World Surf League tiene en agenda en Agosto ‘El Gringo’ en Arica, Chile, el Vans Pro de Virginia y el WRV by Hurley. Luego en Octubre pasará por las reconocidas Costa Rica Open, Santa Cruz en California y el Sunset Beach en Oahu, Hawái.

“La actividad en Estados Unidos será muy fuerte y continua. Por eso me tomé un buen tiempo por allá para hacer un trabajo de investigación en las playas donde estaré compitiendo y en Lima ya empezamos a hacer lo mismo. Quiero agradecer a la gente de Hurley por su patrocinio. Este será el año para llegar al 2017 muy bien afilado en busca de acceder a la primera división de la WSL,” agregó.

MARTIN JERI FINISHED A SUCCESSFUL TRAINING

Martin Jeri, considered in the last months by important specialized Medias as one of the most complete surfers on the planet, is again in Lima. After an extended period of training about twelve hours every day and focused in their sport, he toured the emblematic beaches of the United States and Hawaii and ended this stage with a successful preparation for his expected return to the national and international competitions.

After being nominated in the category of ‘The Best Wave 2016’, Jeri told us details of their activities in the second half of this year. He included events of the National Circuit from Peru and in the next edition of Pico Alto, one of the most traditional dates that bring the cream lovers of big waves from various countries of the world.

“We have achieved our objective and I am now in my highest level in athletic, physical and mental aspects. Already in Lima, I visit the Peruvian beaches, where I willparticipate in the National Circuit. Also I wish to run in the futures dates of the QS World Surf League (WSL) after Pico Alto, which is in wait time.”

Jeri confirmed the domestic season in Huanchaco in June and Talara in October. Regarding the World Surf League in August he will participate in ‘The Gringo’ of Arica, Chile, Virginia Pro Vans and WRV by Hurley. Then in October in the Costa Rica Open, Santa Cruz in California and Sunset Beach in Oahu, Hawaii.

“Our activity in the US will be very strong and continuous. So I took a long time for there to do a research on the beaches where I will be competing. Now in Peru we started to do the same. I want to thank the people of Hurley. This will be a previous year to reach an access to the first division of the WSL in 2017,” he added.
